What Your Child Will Build This Week

Explore the future of technology: This advanced camp introduces students to the fascinating world of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Through hands-on projects, students will understand how computers can learn from data and make intelligent decisions.

Students will work with real ML tools and libraries, creating projects like image classifiers, recommendation systems, and predictive models. This camp provides a competitive edge for students interested in cutting-edge technology and prepares them for advanced computer science studies.

ML Fundamentals

Understand core concepts like training, testing, and how machines learn patterns from data.

Data Analysis

Learn to work with datasets, clean data, and extract meaningful insights for ML models.

AI Projects

Build image classifiers, chatbots, and other AI applications using popular ML libraries.

Model Training

Train and evaluate machine learning models to make accurate predictions and classifications.

ML Projects

Image Classifier

Build a model that can recognize and classify different objects in images using neural networks.

Python
TensorFlow
CNN

Prediction Model

Create a system that predicts future outcomes based on historical data and patterns.

Scikit-learn
Pandas
Regression

Recommendation System

Design an AI that suggests content based on user preferences, like Netflix or Spotify.

Python
Collaborative Filtering
NLP

Prerequisites

This is an advanced camp designed for students with prior programming experience. Students should:

  • Have completed at least one programming course (Python preferred)
  • Be comfortable with variables, functions, and basic data structures
  • Have strong math skills (algebra helpful)
  • Be ready for a fast-paced, challenging learning environment
